Ann

I knew from about seventh grade that I wanted to be a massage therapist. My grade school teammates and I would give each other leg massages as part of practice for track and field. Our coaches encouraged massage to help loosen up, heal our muscles, and increase our performance. I really enjoyed doing the massages for my teammates. So upon graduation, I was already enrolled to be a student at the Utah College of Massage Therapy.
In March 2000, I graduated at Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City. My studies were in: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Russian Sports Massage, Shiatsu, Prenatal Massage, Infant Massage, Seated Massage, Craniosacral Threapy, Reflexology, Acupressure, Facilitated Stretching and Hydrotherapy. Also, I did extra studies at the University of Utah studying anatomy in the Cadaver Lab to further my understanding of the human body.
With massage therapy constantly growing, I am exited to grow with it!
Ann has been a massage therapist since 2000 and has been with Essential Massage since November 2006.
If you would like to schedule an appointment with Ann, she is available Wednesdays and Thursdays all day, Friday mornings, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays.

She enjoys and specializes in deep tissue work, and states, ”Getting into the muscles to help relieve pain and work with the client for a long term solution is what I truly enjoy. Massage is not just a job or even a career, it's what grounds and balances me. It's a pure, basic, and necessary way to impart positive and healthy thoughts on others without saying a word”.
While not at work Courtney enjoys being out doors, riding her bike, gardening, cooking, and most of all being a mom!
Courtney Has been a massage therapist since 2005 and has been with essential since 2009. If you would like to book an appointment with Courtney, her schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon/evening as well as Thursday and Saturday morning/afternoon.
